Wildflowers

Meet Flora and Fauna, twin, adorable,  8 month old African Pygmy Goats and the latest addition to our herd of kids. Flora is the shy, serious, little black goat on the right and Fauna is the chubby puppy-dog on the left.  You probably wondered why I titled this post Wildflowers... well... for a few reasons.  First: Fauna = wildlife in spanish and Flor = flowers so these two are our little wildflowers besides going back to the latin translation and thinking along the line that our  Faunas are eating all the different kinds of Flora hereabouts ... Ok. I'm getting weird. You should just Google flora and fauna if you want come up with your own explanation. ;)   The second reason the post is titled Wildflowers... because the wild asters are out! :)  These happy little flowers are adding some gorgeous color to the outdoors right now. :)
"What happens in the barn, stays in the barn."  These big babies are like puppies and follow you everywhere.  We take them for walks and the girls have blast adding them to their pioneer games.  The kids have just as much fun as the other kids and especially enjoy meal time.
