The Girls

Abigail Elise - 26  (Blogger)

I work out of a 'home office' environment for YMKER Companies and am thankful for the many benefits this provides -working for my dad is great!  I recently set out on my own and bought my first house and am trying to acclimate to the 35min drive back "home" to work daily and living in an empty, very quiet, house at night. Going from 9+ to just myself is a big switch.  The biggest thing in my life that is most important to me is my Heavenly Father and continually striving to grow in the knowledge of Him and shine the love of Christ in me out to others.  I want him to be number one in my life always before anything else and by His grace, He will always be number one.  One of the most meaningful books I have ever read is  The Indwelling Life of Christ: All of Him in All of Me by Major W. Ian Thomas. A few years ago, God used this book to change my life and open my eyes to a whole new understanding and realization of the fullness of Christ and there's no turning back.

Kayla (Grace) - 18

Kayla is finishing up her last year of high school. She adores little kiddos and most animals and is in charge or making sure most of the work keeping the livestock healthy and happy gets done.   Kay is also a talented artist, loyal friend, and her mom's right hand.

Elizabeth (Libby) - 15

Libby is just Libby.  Tall, lanky, Libby-Lou.  She's one of a kind through and through. We often use the expression, "It was just so LIBBY!" and somehow she's constantly on the receiving end of lots of teasing and jokes and it just plain fits.  She takes it all in good humor and dishes it right back!  Libby is also pretty much is Kayla's side-kick and where one is, you'll probably find the other.  She teams with Kayla to help keep the farm running and get those animal chores done.  Libby has shown a lot of talent with writing poems.

Kelly (Joyful One) - 13 (In July'18)

Kelly Joy is the youngest and fills in wherever needed in the family.  You'll find her wherever her sisters are or out by the cows.  Kelly loves living on a farm and has done a great job with halter breaking heifers. Kelly is working hard on school and the sooner she's done for the day, the sooner she can get outside!  In the winter, shes's always the kid that gets scolded for not dressing warmly enough.  Everyone has that kid.
