Siesta Key, Florida 2012!

My (Abby) alligator... BUT... the sand was too dry so it's well... :) very dry and I gave up.

There were 9 manatees RIGHT by the beach. The girls and I went up to look at them.  The first time we went (before I took this picture) they were in about waist deep water so we wade out to get a better look.   We  were standing there observing when everybody on the beach started calling "SHARK! GET OUT OF THE WATER!". We were the only ones in the water. It was a great feeling. ;)  We took about two steps towards the beach when we spotted it about 10ft away coming strait at us.  I told the girls to keep walking and it swam away.   :) We took a few more steps into knee high water and it came back and swam right past us.  It was pretty cool. :)

Kelly and I made this horse together. She was a big help.  We didn't have time to finish with some more detail but we got this done in just a few hours so I'm happy. :)

Kelly did most of the mane and tail BY HERSELF! :)
