One Crazy Short Visit!

These CRAZY cousins -and nieces- (Katie's missing here...) decided to make a CRAZY visit on the 28th from Michigan.They could only stay one day so they arrived at 12:30 Saturday morning. Saturday was jam-packed and then they were on the road again for the nine hour trip back Sunday morning. It was fun though and we crammed a LOT of fun memories into a little over 24hrs. Next time they'll have to come for a longer visit!


The older kids went for an absolutely FUN , WET, and FREEZING fourwheeler ride down the gravel roads to the Gasconade River about 45min away one way.

Katie had some fun feeding the cows.

Amie also got to pet a new calf too but I grabbed the camera too late!

Lina stuck her nose in at just the right second...

We had fun with the cameras...

And some of us had fun playing TWISTER!!!

Allie wanted to play too but she sat down right away and so she was OUT.
I was kinda glad because she was really in my way!!!
We ALL played Spoons too but we didn't get any pictures.

All said and done that crazy drive was worth it!

Happy 6th Birthday!!!

It took our Libby-Lou 6 tries to blow out 6 candles... She was adorable!
Each kid in the family (Dad's a kid) gets to pick out their own special meal for their birthday.
Libby told Mom that she wanted, potato skins, grilled chicken, and blueberry sauce (like what you put on your pancakes) for her supper.... Even though she doesn't like grilled chicken.
We had grilled pork chops instead.

A Giant Batch of Monsters....

First, you start with a really BIG bowl and a ton of ingredients...

YUMMY ingredients...

Then you mix it all together and plop them on a tray...


Finally you pop them in the oven and...Tada! There you go!

MISS KELLY JOY...

wanted to try curlers in her hair so bad after watching Libby Lou try them out a few days ago. They only lasted about an hour before she decided that she didn't want to sleep in them after all. However, the results were still beautiful!

I think being the cutest little lady ever helped a little...

On the other side of the bedroom going on during the photo shoot for Kelly...I couldn't resist...

Thought we'd try this....

We think looking at everybody's blogs is lots of fun so we thought that we'd try our own.
